Overview
As part of Fairtrade Fortnight this year, Growhampton welcomes Think Global, an organisation that promotes learning for a just and sustainable world. Think Global will bring to Roehampton two visiting food producers from Zaytoun, and Veena Nabar, a researcher based in India who has made a short film about co-operatives and coconut growing in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. You will get the opportunity to meet them at our Market Day Extravaganza on the 2nd March and to hear about their experiences of how Fairtrade and co-operatives are empowering local communities in the Hive Café from 12:30pm.
