The Students’ Union is here to promote and address issues that affect YOU at Roehampton University. We are student-led, run by elected sabbatical officers and informed by your feedback.

FAQ: What can an Idea be?
An idea can be anything from new university bus routes, to new relaxation spaces on campus, to how to improve student support during exam periods.
If you have an idea for change, you can start a campaign process by letting the President’s Committee know. You can do this through the form linked below.
FAQ: What is Presidents' Committee?
Presidents' Committee is the name for our Students' Union Council, which forms part of our Democratic Representation System. It is made up of our three full-time Sabbatical Officers, and our four part-time College Presidents.
All ideas submitted by students are reviewed by Presidents Committee, who work to make the necessary improvements based on your ideas & feedback.

Creating change all starts with you as students. The RSU is here as your representative channel, to promote YOUR voice. Ultimately, we need your ideas and feedback in order to make the improvements you want to see at University.
A few examples of change created through Presidents' Committee are:
- Improved lighting around campus
- Feedback regarding accomodation was included in the RSU report for University Senate to promote student voice
- The extension of the University bus route to Putney
