Hello Everyone! My name is Annabel Gallagher. I'm a third year Primary Education student. This will be my 3rd year as a member of the incredible Froebel community! I have been lucky enough to represent the college as a Flat Representative in both Aspen and now Senior of Linden, as well as speaking to Freshers at Offer holder days. I have worked alongside the RSU as a Programme Rep and an Student Mentor (ROC) which will prepare me for my role. I believe I would be a great candidate for Froebel President as I know how the college should be and I've given so much of my time and effort to help other students in this amazing community. I am great at getting people involved and this was recognised by winning the Sabbaticals Award for Student Contribution in May 2017. 

Below are a couple of things I would like to change and improve throughout the college:

1. Bop, Fez and Grand are great events but I want to organise more Froebel events that include off campus students, as over 2/3 of the Froebel Community does not live on site. I plan to organise movie nights, poker nights and chill out sessions during the day time to bring more of Froebel together. There's so much of London to see that events could happen off site too! 

2. I want to ensure the Froebel Trip remains a great tradition of this college; I intend on working alongside Libby Brewster (our amazing new Social Sec/ Deputy) to ensure the holiday caters for as many as possible to make this the greatest Froebel Trip ever!

3. I want to ensure participation in more College Cup events as well as University wide events to ensure the college is widely represented. We need to ensure the College Cup stays where it belongs! 

4. I want to ensure every student in this college feels represented. I intend to feedback every suggestion from every student to improve their time at University. I will work hard to communicate with Flat Reps, the RSU and Off Campus Officers to ensure the networks of communication stay open. 

5. I want to improve the Froebel spirit and culture of the College. Froebel, in recent years, has been more known for its "lad culture". I will help to ensure the spirit of Froebel is made up of every students personality, race, religion and gender so no one feels uncomfortable at University. We are known for being one of the most cohesive colleges and I will make sure we stay that way! I want to share my spirit and love of Froebel with everyone and make sure they're having just as an incredible time as I will be! Let's show everyone how the Black & White Army is meant to be!
