Hello everyone,

Having come second in the recent in the recent election for Froebel president and now running again I am showing my passion, dedication and want for the role of Froebel president. I am serious about being your voice and representing Froebel college in order to improve the college overall and follow through with the current, continuing success and pride of Froebel.

My name is Nicole Simons and I am going into third year as a dance student, Froebel flat representative, cheerleader for Roehampton Rascals and student ambassador. I want to have a positive, promising impact upon Froebel college and so forth I want to be your Froebel president. I want to offer the students of Froebel college a similar, amazing journey to what I have so far experienced.

Froebel is one of, if not the most important part of my university journey; after devoting my loyalty to Froebel, I think it is time I make use of the passion and love I have for the college.

Although this sounds quite cliché I want to state that I am not going to be one of these people that puts out irrational promises. However, my promise is that I will fight to achieve anything that you guys need or suggest.

I am aware we all have different situations for example living on/off campus or studying in different fields but I am here for you all no matter what your circumstances. Whilst I cannot guarantee my future suggestions to be of success, I am ambitious and impassioned for them to be complete by January 2018. I would like to try to have a 24 hour computer space on campus that we as students can access for study and a social space dedicated just to us. (As despite having the bar on Froebel we deserve an individual space like every other college.)

Every individual within Froebel is important and your opinion and suggestions should all be heard. I would like to propose the creation of a Froebel suggestion Facebook page and also a website so that suggestions can be anonymous. I want to emphasise the fact that I am extremely approachable and I will always be around in person to listen to any of your queries and problems.

Whilst Froebel enhances your social life I want to ensure alongside this that you’re supported and represented academically which I am here to implement. I will be a strong voice to speak on your behalf to see that you as students are represented during meetings with the rest of the college team and the RSU. This will enable continuation of the level of communication within Froebel to maintain college spirit and success. After all, it is us students that hold Froebel together; there’s a strong sense of belonging for every individual.

As they say, we Zebras lead the herd, and I am ready to take action and represent each and every single one of you.
