Freshers’ Festival is over… so what now?

Now that Freshers' Festival is over, what is next for Roehampton? (Spoiler: there's a lot!)

Can you believe it’s already been a week since Freshers’ Festival? Campus has been buzzing ever since, and it’s been great seeing so many students getting involved with all that Roehampton has to offer.

FF26 Recap:

  • Freshers’ Fair saw well over 1,000 people gather at Monte Hall, the Union Bar and the courtyard. The day was all about meeting new people, discovering new opportunities, and finding your place at Roehampton. Check out our video of the day here.

  • Growhampton stayed busy with various opportunities like “Meet the Chickens”, Chicken Volunteering, House Plant Sale, Harvesting and a crafty afternoon painting the Chicken house.

  • Speaking of crafty, The Hive Café brought back a fan-favourite: Crafternoon – this time, to paint wine glasses (because wine-not?).

  • Despite some (slightly) windy weather, we gathered on Froebel Lawn to chill out and watch “Monsters University” for our Outdoor Cinema (can’t go wrong with a Disney film, right?)

  • And, of course, not forgetting the nightlife; from gliding across the River Thames in style at the Boat Party, two nights out at the legendary Circuit club in Kingston, and an epic Freshers’ Finale at The Thieves in Battersea.

There was so much happening, and we hope you enjoyed it!

So… what now?
