Make sure you know the difference between official Roehampton SU Freshers' Festival events and unofficial external events...
Tips for Freshers. 🚨
We understand the excitement surrounding a new start and getting involved with as many events as possible - but we also want to ensure that you are safe, you don’t experience any issues, and you are getting your money's worth.
There is a potential risk of students being scammed:
Every year, fraudsters target new students by claiming to run ‘official’ Roehampton Freshers’ events. These are not associated with Roehampton Students’ Union or the University of Roehampton. All official Roehampton events are run by the SU (or in collaboration with us) and other University of Roehampton sectors too.
With the official Freshers’ Festival 2026 programme, we have run risk assessments, we supply the tickets, and we know what the events entail. This means we can help you with any queries, should you have any. We will also have staff at events to help you face to face.
However, with these unofficial, external events, we cannot guarantee whether they are legitimate or not, and staff will not be present. Therefore, if you were to experience any issue with the event or it’s provider, we would sadly not be able to help you.
Where to get your tickets:
If you want to be certain, please only book your tickets directly from our official FF26 website. This is the official link: www.roehamptonstudent.com/freshers/2026/
If the event you’re looking at doesn’t have Roehampton logos or branding, then it is not us!

We don't want you to lose out on anything!
If you have any questions, or you see anything you are unsure of, please contact the SU via email: rsu@roehampton.ac.uk or DM us on Instagram: @roehamptonsu We are happy to help you!
Let’s make sure we start off the year at Roehampton in the best way this Freshers’ Festival 2026!
