Collection for People Affected by the Conflict in Ukraine

A group of students are volunteering to coordinate the collection of items to support people that have been affected by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Please read this article to find out how you can support this.

A group of students are volunteering to coordinate the collection of items to support people that have been affected by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

From tomorrow (Tuesday 1 March) students and staff will be able to drop small quantities of the below listed items at the RSU Reception, Sir David Bell Building reception, The Hive Cafe and Whitelands reception during their respective opening hours until 2pm on Friday 4 March.

  • Clothing including thermal clothing and children's clothing
  • Foil blankets
  • Dry sanitary products
  • Bandages
  • Toothbrushes and hairbrushes
  • Small toys

For larger donations, a local polish integration and support centre is accepting donations and is coordinating logistics for transporting items to Ukraine on Sunday 6 March.
