What opportunities are on offer?
Freshers’ Festival is coming to Roehampton this September and is the perfect way to welcome you to our stunning campus!
But what is Freshers’ Festival?
Most students’ unions have “Freshers’ Week” or “Welcome Week” – one week at the start of the academic year that’s full of various events and experiences for new arrivals and returning students to get stuck into the university community.
At Roehampton SU, we have “Freshers’ Festival” – which is almost the same, except more opportunities spanning over several weeks instead of just one!
Will there be something for me at Freshers’ Festival?
It doesn’t matter if you’re you an early bird, a night owl, or something in between - there will be an event for you.
From chilled out events like:
- Crafternoons (arts and crafts)
- Scavengers Hunt
- Freshers' Fair
- Growhampton sessions (Chicken Care and Gardening)
- Outdoor Cinema
- And more!
To exciting late events like:
- Club nights (Circuit Kingstion and Union Bar)
- Boat Party (on the River Thames)
- Pub Quiz
- Freshers’ Finale (The Thieves Battersea)
