On 26 May, we will be part of the Celebration of Cultures, organised by the RSU.

We'll be bringing traditional Latin American food and snacks from across the region. Every contribution matters: all funds raised go directly to Empower LATAM, an organisation supporting the professional development of Latin American students in the UK.

What is Empower LATAM?

A community connecting young Latinos in the UK with professional development programmes, networking, and events with well-known companies and organisations. If you're Latin American and studying at the university, this is for you.

There will be prizes.

The RSU will recognise the most creative societies at the event itself!!

But that’s not all. Empower LATAM will also be rewarding the most creative societies across the full fundraising campaign, which runs through July. This event on 26 May is just one of several opportunities to get involved, so the more creative and active we are as a society throughout the campaign, the better our chances of being recognised.
