Meet Our Suppliers
We encourage customers to reduce single-use waste through our reusable cup loyalty scheme. Customers receive a stamp each time they purchase a drink using their own reusable cup, and once their loyalty card is full, they receive a free drink.
By rewarding customers for choosing reusable cups, we hope to reduce the number of disposable cups used on campus and encourage more sustainable habits in everyday life.
A Vegetarian Café
The Hive Café is proudly a vegetarian café, meaning we do not serve meat products. Research consistently shows that plant-based diets generally have a lower environmental impact than meat-based diets, requiring fewer natural resources and producing lower greenhouse gas emissions.
Alongside our vegetarian menu, we offer a range of vegan and dairy-free options, helping to provide sustainable and inclusive choices for our customers.
Recycling and Waste Reduction
We are committed to reducing waste wherever possible and encourage responsible recycling throughout the café. Recycling facilities are available to help ensure that suitable materials are diverted from landfill and managed more sustainably.
