This year’s theme for Green Week is “Small Changes, Big Impact,” highlighting how simple, everyday actions can make a real difference, not just for the planet, but for our cost of living and well-being too.

Sustainability isn’t about doing everything perfectly. Small changes like saving energy, repairing instead of replacing, choosing affordable sustainable food, or spending time in green spaces can help reduce everyday costs, improve mental and physical health, and support a more resilient community.

Throughout the week, we’ll be signposting  on-campus events that explore the links between sustainability, affordability, and wellbeing, and show how small actions can lead to meaningful, positive change.
