We’re shining a spotlight on some amazing societies and students who made October extra special!
Niwhar Amin from Coding Society:
As founder and president of the Coding Society and the CEBE School Rep, Niwhar has done an incredible job bringing people together to learn coding, no matter their background. He’s created opportunities for students to gain real hands-on experience and even finds time to contribute to the E-sports Society!
Afro-Caribbean Society:
ACS has been amazing throughout October, running engaging events, sharing educational content, and creating a safe, welcoming space for everyone to celebrate African and Caribbean culture.
Society of African Students:
SAS hosted some fantastic events, including events for Black History Month, and continued to raise awareness and support the wellbeing of their community. Their president, Daniel Elijah, and Treasurer, Olusegun Oladimeji, have been especially active in supporting all members and making sure everyone feels included and valued.
Desi Society:
Huge shoutout to the Desi committee, and president Pranay Dutt, for putting on some brilliant events this month, including an absolutely amazing Diwali celebration that packed the house! Their hard work and collaborations have really brought the community together.
