RSU Reception, Froebel Campus
The falling leaves in Autumn always bring with them an air of melancholy, tell-tale of the wintery days to come. But! They can represent a great resource for any gardener once we have enjoyed their changing colours and have fallen to the ground. Join us in collecting them and storing them to make leaf mould, which is a beautiful form of compost made from decomposed leaves.
Time permitting, we'll also clear out some old plants and weeds from the garden, mulch the allotment beds and take cuttings from the currant bushes.
The meeting point is outside the Students’ Union Reception at 11:00 am, or meet us later at the allotments next to Car Park 9 / tennis courts on Froebel College. This is a drop in, drop out session, so join for an hour, or two! All welcome.
