As a director of Third Row Dance Company, I would want the company to offer a platform to not only bring the multitude of my own ideas into life but also as a safe space for others to demonstrate their abilities as creative individuals and as a collective. Following on from last years directors, I’d like to keep auditions open to all years, especially because of the impact this has had on me as a second year in developing my artistry, whilst also providing such a warm, supportive environment during the current climate. Therefore, I’d love to have the same chance to deliver this experience to others.

I understand the anxiety many dance students feel when comparing their in class practical training to that of conservatoire’s, and therefore I’d like to raise greater awareness for how Third Row tackles this by providing intense yet inclusive company classes to not only these students but those across all courses who are deeply passionate about dance.

I love and prefer to work collaboratively, however I also maintain the ability to lead when direction and clarity of focus is needed. Communicating effectively with others comes naturally to me, whist also being resourceful, responsible, committed and caring. Consequently, I feel I’d be well suited to this role and am excited for what the possibility of this position may bring!
