About Nigerian Students' Society

The Nigerian Students’ Society (NSS) unites students at Roehampton through culture, events, and community. Open to all, it promotes connection, inclusion, and personal growth within campus life.

The Nigerian Students’ Society (NSS) is a student-led organization affiliated with the Roehampton Students’ Union, dedicated to bringing together Nigerian students and friends of Nigeria within the university community. The society provides a supportive platform where members can connect through shared culture, experiences, and interests while participating actively in campus life.

NSS organizes a range of events, cultural activities, and initiatives designed to promote personal development, social engagement, and community building. Through these activities, the society encourages collaboration, inclusion, and the well-being of its members while celebrating Nigerian culture and identity.

The society is led by an elected committee consisting of the President, Secretary, Treasurer, Media Director, and Welfare Director, who oversee the administration, finances, communications, and welfare of members in line with Roehampton Students’ Union guidelines.

Membership is open to all students with a membership fee of £5 per academic year, and NSS welcomes anyone interested in engaging with Nigerian culture, community, and student life.
