Criminology Society

About Criminology Society

For all who are interested in the criminological and current societal issues, the Criminology society is a platform for all students to come together and share ideas

Hello and welcome to the University of Roehampton's Criminology Society page!

The Criminology Society is STUDENT led by the STUDENTS for the STUDENTS. I created the society to allow students to have a platform to invite external speakers of their choice to speak and share experiences and ideas. The society is not restricted to gender race or position. All are welcome to join and participate as students. Being student led means if it does not say Criminology Society on the tin then it is not ours! we are not connected to the criminology academic department or the university college ,but are under the Roehampton Student Union (RSU) please feel free to email your President Anthony Betz with any thoughts ,ideas or plans you may have and I will support you in moving them forward.

Vice-President -Deanna Jane Vincent-Heart

Hey guys, just like Monica I am a second year Criminology and sociology student. I am very friendly and approachable so feel free to talk and ask me questions about anything at anytime. Throughout first year alongside Monica-one of the student reps-I have made sure to support lectures and seminars in ways such as giving feedback to help others, especailly through the strikes and pandemic. One thing about myself is I really enjoy learning and understanding the subject of criminology and I hope to become a detective or work within the police force. Starting from September I hope we can do more activities for our society and meet all of you who want to join us and create a community!
