    BRING BACK WEDNESDAY NIGHTS!!!!!

    Expired
Wednesday nights used to be the biggest events of the week, bigger than BOP. For those who don’t know, every Wednesday night for £5 the University would hire buses to and from a local nightclub (Pryzm, Fez, Infernos, The Grand) and free entry was included. These clubs would be rented out just for Roey students and they were always packed! It was such a good way to meet other students and get involved. For whatever reason, the RSU have decided to not to Wednesday nights this year. However, they are vital for college communities, sports societies and for everyone. This was the night sports clubs went in fancy dresses as a team and did their socials, this was the night societies held their weekly socials, this was the night where the buses were full of people screaming and singing for their colleges and against other colleges!! With these traditions gone, social life at the University has gone downhill. BOP nights are not sufficient for this, and have also drastically gone downhill. Wednesday nights need to come back ASAP!!!!!
