 Placements and Work Experience

Work experience is really valued by employers so it's important to start looking for opportunities as early as possible. Gaining work experience will allow you to make new contacts, help you to make decisions about your future, develop key skills, and will improve your overall likelihood of getting a graduate level job when you complete your studies.

At the University of Roehampton, there is a dedicated Placements & Work Experience team that source a number of on-campus and local, paid internship opportunities, and can offer you advice and guidance about how to gain work experience during and outside of your studies.

You can register your interest in completing an internship at https://talent.santander.co.uk/
or by emailing internships@roehampton.ac.uk for more information. You can also visit The Placements & Work Experience Team on campus in The Hub, Elm Grove.

You can also find paid, flexible and part time jobs exclusively for students at UR Jobs – roles include student ambassadors, reception and administration work, research assistants and events staff, careers assistants.
