Society Wins Since Freshers!

Spotlighting the amazing activities, events, and opportunities ran by our Societies this month.

We can't believe it's been 1 month since Freshers!

Since then, our volunteer Society Leaders have been doing what they do best - creating and running activities and opportunities for you at Roehampton.

We wanted to take the time to thank all our Society Leaders and showcase the amazing opportunities they've ran this month, and let you know it's not too late to get involved.

Freshers Week

Freshers was a monumental effort, and you met our Societies during Freshers Fair. We wanted to thank all of our Societies who attended.

We also wanted to thank the following Societies for running Taster events during the week, such as Funday on Wednesday.

  • Anime and Manga Society
  • Christian Union
  • Dance Team
  • Players
  • Roey Rollers
  • Swing Dance Society
  • Yoga Society

200 hours of events, 500 members, and counting

Since Freshers Week our Societies have been running activities and events every week - helping you make new friends, learn a new skill, and settle into life at Roehampton. Infact over 500 students have joined a Society already, almost half our yearly total last year in the first month!

Well done to all the Societies who have hosted an event so far. They've hit the ground running and have been running over 20 events per week.

We'd also specifically like to say well done to our 5 largest Societies since Freshers Week:

  • Film Society
  • E Sports Society
  • Dance Society
  • Law Society
  • Anime and Manga Society
