Overview

Ever wanted to pick your own veg? Join the harvest team and learn all about the delicious crops growing on the edible campus. The first part of this session involves picking seasonal veggies such as greens, salad, root veggies, tomatoes, courgettes, or herbs, before heading indoors to pack the produce for the veg boxes and for sale at the Hive Café.

This is a great way to meet other students and volunteers, develop skills in teamwork and operations, as well as take home fresh, organic produce! 

The meeting point is outside the Students’ Union Reception on Froebel Campus at 10:00 am or meet us later at the allotments next to the gym / tennis courts. This is a drop-in, drop-out session, so join for an hour, or two!  

No booking or experience is necessary, just turn up! All welcome.
