🌏 Celebrate Culture and Technology with the AI & Computing Society!

We are excited to announce that the AI & Computing Society is collaborating with the Nepali Society, with the support of Southlands College, to take part in a multi-cultural event this May! This celebration will honor Vesak, Buddha’s Birthday, Nepalese New Year, and other New Year traditions, bringing together students from diverse backgrounds to share and explore global cultures.

As part of this collaboration, our society will highlight how AI and computing technologies can enhance cultural experiences—from interactive demonstrations to tech-driven presentations that make traditional stories, foods, and festivals come alive. This is a fantastic opportunity to:

• Experience different cultures and learn their traditions in a fun, tech-enhanced way.
• Work alongside the Nepali Society and other student groups to showcase creativity and innovation.
• Explore the intersection of technology and culture, seeing how AI can help preserve and share cultural heritage.
• Network and get inspired by students and societies passionate about both technology and diversity.
