As part of Refugee Week, UR Library and SU are screening Life is Beautiful: Letter to Gaza, by Mohamed Jabaly.

Let's celebrate together this annual UK-wide festival which honours the creativity, strength, and contributions of refugees and people seeking sanctuary. This years theme, Community as a Superpower, highlights the power of community to heal, support, and unite.

The film won the Best Director jury prize in the 2023 IDFA international competition.
