Overview

Join for an engaging wild food and foraging walk on campus for a fantastic experience and to develop your understanding of foraging for and cooking with wild foods.

We will focus on about 10 edibles (including trees), which we have identified in the Roehampton grounds:

  • Nettles
  • Wild Garlic
  • Dandelion
  • Plantain
  • Hawthorn Leaves
  • Lime Tree Leaves
  • Garlic Mustard (jack-by-the-hedge)
  • Hazel leaf (for tea)
  • Elderflower blossom / berries
  • Cleaver
  • Primrose (especially flowers)

We will serve a wild garlic and nettle soup after the session to enjoy together!
