RSU and Tia Forbes (Digby College President) are holding the first ever RSU Black Hair Conference!
 

A few months ago we organised a Blach Hair Conference workshop to gather feedback and ideas of what the conference should look like. Based on this feedback we have created an exciting conference, which will offer a range of speakers educating students about black hair, discussing hair products and empowering our students to love their natural hair.

You will have an opportunity to share your experiences and learn about other people's hair journeys, and share how they have learned to love their hair.

There will also be an opportunity to learn about protective styles and we will have a demonstration of cornrows, box braids, wigs and headscarfs.

At the end of the conference we will hold a discussion panel of students sharing their experiences and answer a range of questions about black hair.

This is a half-day conference for all Roehampton students!

One guest per student - guest ticket must be bought and guest name must be emailed to studentvoice@roehampton.ac.uk
