Hi, I am running for the role of President of UR WaterAid Society. This academic year I was the Vice President of URWaterAid. I am incredibly passionate about access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene; because it disproportionately affects the poorest countries. Additionally, I understand the charity’s objectives, which include reaching Sustainable Development Goals of ending extreme poverty and providing universal access to safe water and toilets by 2030.

My main objectives for the position would be to hold a Charity Ball in collaboration with charity societies, to honour everyone’s hard work this year; and to campaign on the climate crisis; this could be achieved by involving the university to see what could be done on the ground and contacting our local Putney MP.
