Who Am I?

For those of you who may or may not know who lam, my name is Samuel Adeyeniand lam a
final year Accounting student, currently living off-campus. I am an outgoing and welcoming
individual who always aims to take advantage of all that Roehampton University has to offer. My
main traits have been the determination to contribute my time. my talents and my passion for the
high standard of the cultural life to help nurture the continued positive changes that have been
made, as well as an ambition to build on the success of the current RSU team.

I will ensure that my full attention is focused into influencing the student movement both locally
and nationally, with the changes that we want to see. I will use my position to ensure that the
university is an increasingly welcoming and lively environment, which is all-encompassing, as
well as to help students, whether young or mature, on or off-campus to feel welcome and part of
the larger lifestyle.


Whv Vote for Me?

If elected, I believe that I can help build on the various successes of the current team and help to
further unify our students, by - first and foremost - listening to YOUR ideas, thus ensuring that
our wants and needs are at the best position it can be to make a change. I will represent you all
by listening to your ideas, keeping everyone involved [where possible], and developing on your
queries, ideas, and deliberations, whilst ensuring that my Manifesto promises are delivered and
upheld. As well as pushing for all students to feel represented.

If elected, and with your help, I promise to;

  • Work in conjunction with the necessary departments, in an aim to gather the relevant information to best democratically influence proceedings
  • Work with as many students as possible to improve and develop the awareness and presence and make more people aware of any events, news, or initiatives that the we may choose to hold.
  • Work with a variety of students and staff in an effort to get a wide range of views and ideas listened to and to make their views representative in any developments.
  • Hold more regular meetings where students can express any concerns, praises, or observations in a formal manner.
