Better and safer place for all

Hello Roehampton students,

My name is Naser, and I feel both privilidged and excited to submit my application to

become your Sports President. Im currently in my year 2 studying sports management. This opportunity will help in preparing for my future career, which will motivate me to be a good example for all.

To say sport has always been a huge part of my life would be a complete understatement,

I have been part in my school football team, handball team, basketball and athletic sports.i moved to the UK in 2016 to study sports  and had access to continue my education in sports after finishing my sports level 3 course that I could come to Roehampton to do my sports management degree. As a

second year student, I think my degree would make an excellent foundation for the role of

sports president, as I've studied modules such as sports management, sports leadership and sports events management. This would allow me to try and help Roehampton student and do the best to deliver the best sports experience to you.

learning about sports management could make you a good president as I have been exploring different aspects of how deliver a better sports activities to the community, and how important it is to be close the community and understand their needs.

Since coming to the university here, sport continued to be a great hobby for me, but also a godsend in terms of my welfare in terms of physical and mental wellbeing. As someone who didn't know anyone at uni, I was warmly welcomed into various sports clubs with open arms, and met some great people (now great friends!) This had a huge impact on me, and is something I feel really strongly about; fostering that culture of inclusivity, approachability and community and camaraderie. I want to to provide something to make everyone welcome to various sports events and socials.

I think it's really important that your Sports President is approachable and accessible at all times, which is why if I was successful, I would operate an open door policy. What I'd really love to do is try to promote sports to students who might not usually be your usualy attendee.

Please make sure you go and vote for me Naser Albargouhty as your new male sports president.
