Manifesto

Candidate for the position of Southlands College President

Ryan Stephen James Armstrong

Lux Amare Vita ยท Light, Love, Life The Faculty of Business and Law's three L's will not tire or diminish under my leadership as Your Southlands College President.

In order to sustain a college for students to achieve their goals it is needful for students to be aware of how important their academic success is to their environment.
As President I will show how all students of the College are making a daily impact to themselves and to others by the good work they do.

To do this as your President, I will hold weekly meetings twice a week in Chapman's Hall or the Reef for all students of Southlands College, resident and commuters, to encourage ourselves for the dreams that we have dreamed for ourselves. Through these meetings we will voice together each persons will to achieve their goals so that it is not only the rigour in times of study that ensures it.

I will make sure Student's voices are represented across the college's discussions and discisions through the weekly meetings I will hold. Here you may share any awesome news you have, or any problems you have been faced with while studying at the Faculty of Business and Law. And it will also serve as a place to meet new Staff and students of the Faculty; It will also serve as a place to recieve updates on University life if you do not have Social Media.

I will always keep a beat on the Deputy President so that activities and and other events and inititives thrive which will remove any notion that Southlands College is asleep.

University is meant to be a lively place and as President I hope to keep that thought alive for Southlands. This will keep students aware of what is going on, and who is who in their Faculty.

If there are any societies that Students are interested in, you will be able to contact me and with your willingness for the Society I will support you for it's founding.

I will meet with the Students Union Council in order to properly inform students about current affairs and events.

Many Thanks,

Ryan
