Hi everyone! 

I'm Helena and I would love to be your social sec for dance team next year! 

I have competed and choreographed for the team for two years now and it has really shaped my university experience.

I am hardworking, friendly, approachable and dedicated to the team. The social side to comp team was a massive part of my first year experience!

Holding socials helps all members of the team to form a strong bond and allows everyone to get involved with creating team spirit!  

Whilst being novice jazz choreographer this year, it has taught me how much staying connected and keeping team spirit is key and as dance team social sec I would love to organise a variety of events for our team so we can make next year amazing!

For next year I want to continue to improve making our social media more interactive with fitness takeovers, challenges, online classes and weekly online workshops, which will ultimately strengthen our online presence at competitions on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. 

I also believe it is so important to have regular socials for everyone to catch up outside of rehearsal. These are some of the ideas I propose for the team:

Organised themed nights drinking/non drinking 

Monthly socials with all teams 

End of year formal for the team 

Dance team tour trip

End of year dance awards night

Fundraisers for the team 

Online socials 

As I am approaching my 3rd year at Roehampton I would love this opportunity to continue bringing fun and success to comp team! I still have so many more ideas for socials and with your votes I am dedicated to making them all happen!
