Hey Guys

Me again lmao. I'm staying at Roey for my Masters/PGCE (Haven't decided which, but we'll see what happens) and so I have decided I wanna head up the society for another year. You know I've got the experience and I know you know I will never give you up, let you down, run around or hurt you (and apparently never say goodbye either). 

I've been your vice through covid, the nutter with cat memes in the group chat, and coming up with whacky socials to keep us going through what has been a crap year.  I adore every single one of you. Our community has been unbelievably strong, supportive, and amazing to be apart of. 

With the hope covid will take a hike, here's what I'll be bringing back with me in September: 

- Return to physical socials. Open spaces for everyone to come together, finally meet face to face, and have a laugh. The zooms have been amazing, the group chat bewildering and I think we're all getting tired of this huge long-distance relationship we've got going on.

- If covid stays put, I'm upping the game with our cyber socials. Cards against Humanity, quiz nights, open mic nights, fundraisers, group calls, and support nights. We all need a bloody good time if we're behind doors again, so I promise to keep this going with nothing but improvement each time.

- Society merchandise, Pin badges, t-shirts, and hopefully branded lanyards. I've always wanted to bring in pronoun badges, mini flag ones, or just LGBTQ+ ones so we can show our pride around the Uni. 

- Apprentice Committee. I'll be honest, the job itself this year has been a cakewalk with all of it being virtual. Prior to being VP, I had the benefits of being Treasurer for 2 years face-to-face. Using my experience in all 3 roles, I want to train and give you guys the chance to benefit from all of my experience, so when you feel ready you can be the next President, VP, or Treasurer of our society and hopefully feel more confident and less anxious in doing so.

You have seen everything I can do virtually. And I cant wait to show you all the great things I can do when we can physically come together again.
