Hi, my name is Shukhrat Ruziev, I am running for the position of Student with Disabilities Officer because I want to help university to understand and support disabled students more by facilitating equality of participation and ensuring that they achieve appropriate learning outcomes in an Academic Environment.

I have experience in mostly hospitality sections which might come handy while working as a Officer of Student with Disability and have developed the skills, namely listening, teamwork, communication, presentation and time managment. I think and believe that, it makes me an ideal candidate to secure the rights of students with disabilities.

If elected, firstly, I would aim to build and maintain a positive relationship with disabled students, secondly, would provide disablity support, advice and guidance, thirdly, make commitment to inclusiveness, equality and diversity. I believe these aims of mine will bring a positive impact on students with disability, increase overall satisfaction of them from University, and also motivate them to do their best in an excellent academic environment without feelling alone.
