Hello! My name is Eve and I am a second year Film and Creative Writing student and will be running for the position of Vice-President of the Writing Society. Although I haven’t been involved in the society before, I am an active member of the University and would love the opportunity to become more involved in the society. I love writing and it is something I am aiming to continue doing in the future.

As Vice-President, I would aim to create a safe space for anyone who wants to, to come and write freely. I think being able to write and chat with other writers is invaluable and can help create friendships as well as professional relationships! I would love to stand alongside the society president to think of activities for the society such as themed weeks, regular social events and more! I would do my best to recruit new people from all years and would aim to give the society a larger social media presence where people can post their work and interact with each other.
