Welcome to the Linguistics Society of Roehampton University. The society is run by students who are currently studying Language and Linguistics at the University, however you don't need to have any linguistic knowledge to join! This society is a great chance for you to meet other students who are studying linguistics and offer a chance to get to know the people on your course. The society will be hosting a vareity events catered towards every type of person so please don't hesitate to get involved!

 

We will be holidind study groups in the library! We are currently thinking every Thursday 2pm-3pm but this could change so keep your eyes peeled! The study group will offer a fantastic opportunity for students to get together and work on assignments, as well as provide an opportunity to ask questions to your peers. A lot of assignments require a great deal of research, having a place to convene and share notes will be an invaluable asset to your studies.
