This is a society to represent those involved with the running and creation of content for Roehampton University's very own student internet radio station. Our main aim is to ensure any student can get involved with our active and ever-growing student radio. A student radio station can give you additional skills to add to your CV for a career in a wide range of jobs. Whether it's public speaking, audio production, marketing or sound design... to whatever extent and to whatever time frame, reach out to us and we'll find a way that you can get the most out of Student Radio Roehampton.
Student Radio Roehampton is a 24/7 internet radio station with connections to all of the four colleges at the University. We are fully licensed to play any commercially recognised music; Whether you want to play your mate's homemade mixtape or Ice Spice's new single we are legally allowed to do so.
We also have access to a professional sound studio with the ability to have up to 4 presenters hosting a show at a time. That means potential for talk-shows that could cover politics, sports, or anything that you might want to chat about on the air.
When Student Radio Roehampton isn't live, we have a 24/7 stream of music curated by students, inter-spliced with advertisements and notices about university events and news.
