Giving something back to your local community:
Have you thought about helping someone over the age of 70 or someone who is vunerable with shopping or other small tasks who arent suppose to go out during these hard times.
Going down to the shops and getting some shopping for them or by going through our own cupbaords and thinking can we spare something to help someone in need.
Giving something back to your local comminity is a great way to further develop your CV and LinkedIn account with some volunteering.

NHS Volunteer Responders
Following Tuesday's announcement, the NUS are looking for a number of volunteers to help get through this crisis.
If you are a student with some time capacity, please check through this list and see if there is something you can get involved with. We would encourage you to do so in accordance to the guidelines, and only participate in what is suitable based on your own circumstances and NHS advice.
You can do the following roles, some are more sutiable for those at low risk rather than high risk, so please check as appropriate and be cautious that it is right for you.
Here are the ways you can support:
Community Response volunteer: This role involves collecting shopping, medication or other essential supplies for someone who is self-isolating, and delivering these supplies to their home.
Patient Transport volunteer: This role supports the NHS by providing transport to patients who are medically fit for discharge, and ensuring that they are settled safely back in to their home.
NHS Transport volunteer: This role involves transporting equipment, supplies and/or medication between NHS services and sites, it may also involve assisting pharmacies with medication delivery.
