Hello Zeebras, my name is Amy Morris and I am running to become your next Froebel Deputy President. You may know me as a familiar face at the many RSU events and I want to make sure everyone has the best experience here just like I have!

1.       Daytime and Weekend Events

The university provides us with so many evening events but we should take advantage of the hours in the day, especially at the weekend! Events during the spring/summer term such as boys vs girls and sports days will give us the chance to meet new people and create memories with our fellow Froebelians and ensure there is full attendance for college cup events 

2.       Choice of Holidays and Events

As a member of Froebel for the past years, I understand how frustrating it can be attending the same locations continuously. I want to ensure that all college members can have their say in the events and holiday destinations by providing polls to make sure everyone is heard and welcomed into the college community

3.       Froebel Zeebrettes

Having close friendships with others within Froebel, I know the girls of our college are just as powerful as the boys. I want to make sure that the girls of Froebel are recognised as a strong community, whether that is through a team to compete half time at Frigby or a regular sports team such as tag rugby or football

4.       Froebel off-campus

Having both relatives and friends living off campus, I understand that our community can almost forget about how big our family is. I think a Froebel off campus formal event will allow students to feel part of the family; I also want to organise more Froebel pre-drinks and summer events so we can maintain the love throughout the year

5.       Charity Events

After witnessing the success of other charity events on campus, I think more fundraising amongst our college and community will bring us together and open our loving family to everyone.

Why should you vote for me

I am approachable, organised and am completely passionate about our college and everyone involved. I will put 110% into everything I do, throwing myself into all college cup events and together we will continue to prove that we are the top college. I am living on campus next year which will allow me to be there for anyone who needs support as well as having a close relationship with our college team and our candidates for president.
