Candidate Statement
I believe my leadership, commitment to students, and ability to turn student concerns into real action make me a strong candidate for this role. During my time at the University of Roehampton, I have always prioritised listening to students and working towards practical solutions that improve their everyday experience on campus.

I am approachable, proactive, and committed to building a strong student community. I believe every student should feel heard, supported, and included in university life. My focus is not only on identifying issues but also on working collaboratively with the Roehampton Students’ Union and university teams to create meaningful change.

Through my leadership roles, I have developed strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. These qualities allow me to represent students effectively and ensure their voices are reflected in university decisions.
I currently serve as the Southlands College President (2025/26), where I represent students and work closely with the college and university teams to improve the student experience. This role has given me valuable experience in student representation, organising events, and addressing student concerns.

I am also the Captain of the Roehampton Badminton Society and President of the Business Society, where I organise activities, support student engagement, and help create opportunities for students to connect with each other. These roles have strengthened my leadership and organisational skills and allowed me to work closely with diverse student communities.

In addition, my professional experience in customer service and leadership roles has helped me develop strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. These experiences have prepared me to communicate effectively with students, staff, and external partners while representing student interests.
One thing people should know about me is that I am committed to taking action for students. When students at Southlands College faced a hot water issue in accommodation, I raised the concern with the university and followed up until it was resolved.
