I am an international Nursing student, College President and Student Ambassador who understands how intense university life can be. Adjusting to a new academic system while balancing placements and assessments has shaped my view of representation. It needs to be practical, fair and focused on real outcomes.
I lead with integrity and accountability. My friends describe me as reliable, responsible, and someone who follows through. I prepare thoroughly, listen carefully and act where I can. I am confident and emotionally intelligent, able to assess situations thoughtfully and contribute with clarity when change is needed.
I want students to graduate with experience, confidence and clearer pathways into employment. I care about doing the work properly, and I stand by what I commit to.
As Digby Stuart College President, I have represented students in university board meetings where decisions affecting academic experience are made. By working collaboratively with the College team, I helped establish the Digby Community Pantry, now operating for over 10 weeks and continuing to support students facing financial pressure. It reflects my ability to turn identified needs into structured, sustained action.
As a Programme Representative, I gathered and presented student feedback at Programme Boards, contributing directly to course-level discussions. Three years as a Student Ambassador and working within Roehampton Students’ Union have strengthened my understanding of governance, student voice and institutional processes.
Balancing clinical placements, assessments and leadership responsibilities has given me first-hand insight into the academic and financial pressures students face and why graduating with experience, not just a degree, matters.
I take responsibility seriously. If elected, I will approach this role with integrity and a genuine commitment to acting on your feedback and strengthening the academic experience where possible.
