I am a familiar and trusted face at Roehampton. From undergraduate to master's level, I've built strong relationships across colleges, departments, and leadership teams. I understand how the university works, not just socially, but structurally. I know who to speak to, how decisions are made, and how to transform student concerns into decisions and outcomes. I am confident, articulate, and not afraid to advocate when students need defending. I combine visibility with credibility; people know me, but more importantly, they trust me. I listen carefully, act critically, and follow through consistently. My leadership is not performative – it is results-driven and has been proven through my previous roles here on campus.
I have been a Student Ambassador for three years and Senior Ambassador for one, representing Roehampton at key events and working closely with staff and senior leadership. I chaired the student panel that interviewed the new Chair of Council, ensuring student voices were central to that decision. As a Flat Leader in Digby and a Study Abroad Ambassador, I support students daily and resolve real issues. These roles have strengthened my accountability, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills. More importantly, they have built a trusted network across the university, giving me the influence and access needed to make change happen.
I care deeply about this community and the people in it. I am not promising unachievable goals. I am, however, promising a pathway towards a positive change. I will be present, approachable, and committed to making Roehampton better for everyone.
