Candidate Statement
I am running for this position as I care about you, your voice and the future of this university. I have a track record of strong experiences in leadership, student voice, and successfully advocating on behalf of others. I am friendly, trustworthy, and confident enough to listen to students' perspectives and learn from them. Having worked in a variety of university departments, I am familiar with how systems function and know how to work within them to bring about constructive change. Additionally, I have led campaigns and hosted events, showcasing excellent teamwork, communication, and organising abilities. I am a trustworthy and student-focused representative for this position because I lead with honesty, compassion, and accountability.
I have a wide range of experience in student representation, engagement, and leadership throughout the university. I've supported programs like 'This Girl Can'  while working in the sports department, where I helped encourage community involvement, inclusion, Women safety and participation. I have helped the School of Psychology with social media and student involvement. In order to improve communication between students and the psychology department.

Worked closely with students, societies, and staff, as I oversaw projects that improved campus-wide student life and engagement during my time as Whitelands President (25–26). My communication, organisational, and collaborative leadership abilities were enhanced by this position. In addition, my active bystander training, has also equipped me with practical knowledge of student safety and safeguarding.  I can also respond appropriately and promote a secure, welcoming university environment, due to my previous experiences.
I love to have a good time and socialise with people
