I focus on solutions, communicate clearly and professionally, and ensure student voices are presented constructively and supported by evidence. I believe real change requires preparation, persistence, and respectful negotiation.
My studies have strengthened my strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. I prioritise long-term, sustainable academic improvement over short-term fixes, promoting structured, transparent, and continuously improving education.
I am approachable and inclusive, representing undergraduate and postgraduate, home and international, full-time and part-time students. I will support clear communication, regular updates, and meaningful engagement.
This role requires resilience, professionalism, and accountability. I am ready to represent students at a wider level and ensure our academic experience reflects our needs and ambitions. I am not just running for this role — I am prepared for it.
I bring both academic and leadership experience to this role.
At this university, I have served as a Moodle Leader for two modules, where I supported students by clarifying doubts, guiding them through coursework, and ensuring clear communication between students and lecturers. This strengthened my responsibility, communication skills, and understanding of academic challenges.
Previously, during my bachelor’s degree, I served as a Student Union Leader. In that role, I represented student voices, worked with university administration, and advocated for student needs. This experience built my confidence in leadership, decision-making, and structured representation.
These experiences have prepared me to represent students effectively, communicate professionally, and deliver meaningful improvements as the President of Southlands College.
I lead with confidence, responsibility, and action. I listen, support others, and turn student concerns into practical change. My focus is on delivering real improvement that students can feel, not just promises.
