My name is Khrystyna Burlak, and I am running for Deputy President of Digby Stuart College because I see a campus where every student feels heard, supported, and empowered to succeed. Being at university is more than acquiring knowledge; it is about creating opportunity, a great community, and safety and value for everyone.
Why Should You Vote for Me?
1. Support Your Own Career Development
- I shall be campaigning for more career development workshops and networking events, mentorship programs to assist students in connecting with industry professionals.
- I will seek to improve internship and job placement chances in order for students to step out of Roehampton into a future with good career prospects.
- I will ensure that there are CV-writing, interview skills, those kinds of things, and LinkedIn profile sessions to the betterment of employment.
2. Safety for All on Campus
- I will ensure stronger safety measures for the campus concerning better lighting and safe travel, especially when a student raises a concern.
- Promotion of services concerning mental health-oriented counseling to be more available to students, well-being programs offered for students, and counseling for among the same subjects.
- I will establish strong footing for diversity and inclusivity so that each student, no matter what, feels valued and represented.
3. Improved Experience for All Students
- I will continue to campaign to improve student space, facilities, and resources, so you have the best environment for study and companionship.
- I will take your voice into RSU, as an avenue for change that matters to you.
- I will promote that sense of community here at Digby Stuart by organizing fun events, meet-ups, and activities to connect us.
