Hello, I am Nafisa Nabi Rashmi from Bangladesh. I am studying Human Resource Management(B.Sc). I am standing for Asian and Minority Ethnicity student's officer. Besides my study, I like doing music, painting and photography. I am one of the Southlands College flat representatives. I am currently engaged in Youth Opportunity which is an international organization of awareness about ongoing international funded and non-funded programs for international students. My pleasure is helping others and making a positive influence in the world. And I am hoping to bring the changes from our university of Roehampton. I have a passion for volunteering and leadership and Let's make leadership and university life awesome together.

A student of Asian and Minority Ethnic origin, I am dedicated to advocating for the needs of my fellow students, especially those from underrepresented communities, and ensuring that they have a voice and are also supported on campus. International students are altogether a family and the most important part of this family is Asian and minority ethnic group students. If you elected me as an Asian and Minority Ethnicity Student's Officer my aim and target are given below:

MY KEY AIMS:

•  Ensure better communication for the safety of minority groups.
• Student engagement in feature programs of the university. 
•  Society Collaboration to celebrate all of our cultures.
• Support to explore in campus to enjoy full of the London University life.
•  Work for the well-being of the community.

THE CHANGES I WILL BRING:

•  Build up strong bonding among the Asian and minority ethnic group So that they can get in touch for any kind of personal issues like finding a job or an emergency accommodation.
• Ensure to celebrate the festivals of Asian culture  On Campus with the international Family.
•  A guide for the fresher. When Asian ethnic student arrives here they face a lot of trouble regarding admission and academic and accommodation problems. So, my main target will be to solve the above mention issues.
• As Asians, we have many cultural programs of our own. To celebrate all the Asian cultural programs and to make awareness about all the programs will be a goal.
• As an Asian ethnic students, one of the main places where we lacked behind is our communication skills So we will focus on enriching our communication skills and arrange seminars and workshops to reach our target.
• Most of the time students s suffer from a mental breakdown. I will try to make the community more friendly and easier to access for them to cope with this situation. The well-being of ethnic students will be our main target.
•  I will take the necessary steps to increase personal skill, as Personal skill is a barrier for ethnic students like us to get a  job. I along with the RSU society will organize seminars, workshops and internships to gather skills as much as possible.
•  Start a “Report and Support” system to empower victims of hate crime and sexual violence.
