"TAKING ACTIONS, GETTING RESULTS"

Dear fellow students, I would like to first say a big thank you for the opportunity and privilege of allowing me to represent you in this current academic year and I look forward to the opportunity to serve you better as I plan to campaign for the next academic year 2022/2023.

My vision for Roehampton and everyone is a space of expression for everyone, irrespective of your race, gender, religion, ability or inability. I believe in a university that works for all, not just the few or certain class or race of people.

In this academic year, I want to start by doing what is necessary, which includes increasing the reputation of the university by working with the Security and Health & Safety departments, to work hard to restore and emphasize on equality. I also want to introduce more affordable meal deals in the canteen to accommodate the finance of learners.

I also want to embark on safety mandate, I would host a knife crime event on how to stay safe and ask for help in the university where there will be an open speech in order to share my passion and encourage students to adopt a zero tolerance to violence within and outside the College.

This year, I wish to deliver more results and meet the pressing needs of learners in diverse ways. I plan to campaign for the provision of vocational courses, new computer systems especially in the library, help students in financial difficulties get a laptop and complete the Canteen Campaign for further reductions on food.

Also finding solutions for printing credits where students can get enough printing credits.

Overall, the most important thing in any individual’s life is to feel important and make their voice heard, which is what we want to establish. I hope with this vision of mine, I have been able to convince you as why I should be elected as the 2022/23 black Students' officer.
