Roehampton

► Report It!

Report it is a scheme that was set up last year by the RSU Welfare and the police community support officer. The purpose of the scheme is to encourage students, and staff, to report crime from the local area if it has affected you! We are not suggesting that Roehampton is the centre of crime and not a safe place to be as this is not reality. However, crime does happen. Not just in Roehampton but in every borough throughout the country and it’s a fact that students do not report it when they have become a victim of crime!

With the help of the Roehampton safer neighbourhood team we ask you to pop up to Branda & Tracey's Café, located on the top floor of the Hirst Building at Digby Stuart College, if you feel like you need to chat or possibly need advice on safety matters. If your problem requires privacy you can always speak to me to the PCSO’s in the welfare room.

Below are the confirmed dates for this semester and a word from the local neighbourhood team:

The idea of the drop in, “Report It”, is so you can come and talk to us aboutany concerns you may have regarding safety, whether it be personal or home, or for any concerns in general about living and being at university in Roehampton. If you have been involved in an incident and not sure what to do about it, we will advise you. If you just want to talk, we will listen.

The team are: PS Mark McLeavery, PC Andrew Voong, PC John Frame, PCSO Nicky Edwardes, PCSO Marco Serrano, PCSO Fuad Osman, PCSO Noel Perkins, PCSO Lisa Burke and PCSO Richard Ahronson.

Nicky is the University Liaison Officer and is also a LGBT Liaison Officer. She will be on the campus on a regular basis, as well as holding the drop in above, so please say hello.
