► What are societies are there?

WHAT SOCIETIES ARE THERE?
There are around 35 societies in the university and that number will be growing with students that are interested in starting up new ones, such as the Allotment society and Creative writing society. There has been great success with societies, especially with members of the Film society, People and Planet and the Roehampton Players always providing socials and extra activities and events for members to get involved with. Any student can start a new society, they can cater for all different tastes. Socities are a greatway to socialise and hang with like minded people inan environment that is comfortable to you. All societies at Roehampton are set up by students, for students.

This year will see the introduction of the first ever Societies Acheivment Ceremony (SAC) to the RSU callendar. Acting as an equivilent to the annual AU Dinner, SAC will celebrate the hard work and commitment and organisation championed by some of the RSU's finest socieities over the year.
