The Sport and Wellbeing Department is recruiting students who are interested in sports coaching, physical activity or have coaching qualifications to become Sport and Wellbeing Ambassadors. The Sport and Wellbeing Ambassadors will deliver a wide range of sports based activities to young people in the local community through the Move project, which aims to:
• Engage local young people in positive sporting activities
• Develop young peoples’ sporting and personal achievement
• Promote alternative and further education opportunities to young people
Sport and Wellbeing Ambassadors should be enthusiastic, keen to work with different groups of the local community and available to work during evenings and weekends.

The Sport and Wellbeing Department has 15 posts to recruit to.

Interviews to be held on the week beginning – Monday 25th February 2008
